Together with our parent company ATS Group, Logitrans Handling realised an automatic stacker at our customer Westlandia.
Westlandia is a custom-made company and therefore plays a very important role in the social economy. Their aim is to promote the integration of people with disabilities.
In order to promote the integration of these people, Logitrans helped to develop an automatic stacking aid. In this development special attention was paid to technology in order to allow the operators to work as ergonomically and efficiently as possible.
This prototype is also part of the TTI living labs. This is a European project that uses technology in customised companies to stimulate the integration of people with a disability.
Thanks to this group project, the employees will be able to work fully efficiently all day long. The automatic stacking aid will ensure that the employee can easily stack the boxes on a pallet. After this, this device will automatically lower or raise its level until it is at an ergonomic height.
