What is a pallet turner?

Payne Pallet Inverters ' pallet turner is a 180° pallet inverter that can change and replace pallets in an ergonomic, efficient and easy way. This machine rotates the pallet and load integrally 180° around its own axis. Imagine a damaged pallet or damaged goods at the bottom of the load. With the pallet turner, this can literally be solved in an instant. You bring the new target pallet onto the load. Then you put it into the pallet turner with an electric pallet truck or similar. The machine will then clamp the assembly and then the machine will turn the assembly so that the load lands on the new pallet. The disposable pallet can then be safely removed.

The pallet turner is used for the following applications:

1. Switching from wood to plastic or aluminum pallets
2. Replacing damaged pallets
3. Replaced damaged goods at the bottom of the pallet
4. 180° rotation of goods

Difference between pallet turner and pallet tilter

There are, of course, several models suitable for performing the actions described above. The Pallet Turner and the Pallet Tilter fall under the same family within the 180° Pallet Inverters. The design of the machine is what differentiates the Pallet Turner from the Pallet Tilter.

The Pallet Turner always has two moving clamping tables. As a result, the load always rotates in the center. In other words, this is the best solution for handling both very high and small loads.

In addition, the Pallet Turner can also be loaded with an (electric) pallet truck. The ramp supplied makes this possible. This is not the case with the Pallet Tipper which always requires a forklift or stacker.

Type of cargo

The Pallet Turner is ideally suited for tilting bagged goods and boxes and barrels. For fragile goods, the Pallet Turner can be equipped with our unique precision detection system. However, some products by their nature can hardly be tilted 180°. This could in fact cause damage. Here we are thinking especially of buckets or open packages.
