The slewing crane as a suspension system for hoists and vacuum lifting systems.

The slewing crane can be used as a suspension system for our hoists and vacuum lifters. For handling applications with a limited working range, this is the appropriate solution.

For light lifting applications up to about 125 kg and a length of up to 5 m, we recommend an aluminium swivel arm. Aluminium is much lighter than steel, and therefore runs much smoother than a steel swivel arm.

Swing valve for wall or column

A slewing crane can be mounted to an existing pillar of the building or to a column supplied by Logitrans. For an optimal safety, we always anchor the column in the floor, in a chemical way. The advantage of a column is that you can choose its position completely. In this way you can optimally take into account the smooth movement of the slewing arm in relation to the working area.

If you already have an existing pillar that can perfectly serve as a column, we will of course make use of it. This way, you save on the place of a column.

Limited installation height? No problem at all

Also for buildings, where at first sight the installation height seems to be limited, Logitrans has adapted slewing cranes in its range. We almost always send a consultant on site to analyse and measure the working area. On that basis we offer the correct solution.

Although it is technically possible to obtain a slewing arm longer than six metres, we will never offer you one. Swivel arms longer than six metres are quite awkward and we know that awkward swivel arms are sometimes ignored. Of course, we want to avoid this at all times.

Moveable solution

Perhaps you want to be able to use the swivel arm in several places? Then it is indeed not so interesting to chemically anchor the pole in the floor. We can also offer a solution for this with a mobile column slewing crane. The pile is mounted on a base that can easily be moved with a pallet truck or forklift. A power supply must be provided at each location where you want to use the unit.

However, a real mobile solution is the mobile order picker. You will often find these in the logistics sector, where orders are picked at numerous locations.
